Apple Grunt - An Amish Delight

I have been cooking since I was 8 years old. I currently have a recipe database of over 470,000 recipes. I have published over 200 cookbooks in English, Spanish, French, German and Italian and hope to publish at least another 200 cookbooks in 2021. Having been born and raised in Pennsylvania, the Amish community was a favorite place to camp and shop. One of the first cookbooks I created was Amish Recipes. Apple Grunt is a great dessert or in between meal snack. I would suggest a tart apple, such as Granny Smith, but any firm apple will work well. My cookbooks are available on Amazon. I am working on my personal website, updating and adding all of my English language cookbooks to it. If you have a personal recipe you would like to share, please contact me.
